Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart Technician position available in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The role involves supporting cardiovascular surgeries within a facility that emphasizes high standards of patient care and operational efficiency. The technician will work in a dynamic environment, providing specialized surgical support in the OR setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with one weekday call shift per week, one weekend shift (Friday through Sunday) per month, and potential floating within Zone 3 (OCH, LUH, SAH, SAN).
• Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA; minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room with Open Heart procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with open heart and endovascular procedures, ability to float to general ORs, and familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to general ORs within Zone 3.
• Additional Information: Open heart and vascular experience are highly preferred. Candidates must be in the state during the week of orientation. The facility requires a valid license to submit. The unit offers specific orientation tailored to CVOR and General OR procedures. The hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments. The response time for call is 30 minutes.
