Job Summary:
The position of Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialty is available in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role involves working in a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) unit with general OR responsibilities, focusing on open heart and vascular procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Address: Colorado Springs, Colorado
- Schedule: 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with call responsibilities, including one weekday and one weekend (Friday through Sunday) per month, with potential floating within Zone 3 to general ORs.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications include Colorado (CO) Department of Regulatory Agency (DORA) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification via the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA); minimum of 2 years of experience, current license to submit.
- Preferred Qualifications: Open heart and vascular experience.
- Float: Yes, float rotation may be required, including within Zone 3.
- Additional Information: Self-scheduling and block scheduling are allowed; orientation specific to CVOR and general OR; 30-minute call response time; facility has call room.
