Job Summary:
A Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in East Saint Louis, Illinois. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating nursing care activities for clients within the psychiatric unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position demands a high level of clinical judgment, organizational skills, and the ability to work with adult patients in a behavioral health setting during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, current Illinois license, BLS certification required, B.S.N. preferred or equivalent years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to operate standard office equipment (i.e., copier, facsimile machine, 10-key), personal computer, and specific software (MS Office applications and Meditech).
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for organizing and delivering nursing care, directing other staff, and participating in patient assessments, medication administration, and emergency responses. The role requires physical exertion such as lifting up to 25 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, and walking. Flexibility to adapt to changing assignments and environments is essential.
