Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) in Berlin, Vermont. This is a 13-week travel assignment requiring candidates to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of Emergency Room experience and must be flexible to work every weekend if necessary. Experience with pediatric patients under age five, teaching facility experience, and recent EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system proficiency are essential requirements.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, Monday through Sunday, with bi-weekly orientations on Monday.
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
- Education: Must have at least 2 years of Emergency Room experience.
- Location: Berlin, Vermont.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in Emergency Room settings.
- Additional: Recent EPIC EMR experience (within past 2 years), teaching facility experience, and all employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- De-escalation training such as Crisis Prevention Institute (CPS).
- Experience with pediatric patients under age five.
- Additional Information:
- This assignment is 13 weeks only.
- No block schedules are allowed.
- Travelers will be required to have reliable transportation, as public transportation is not accessible in this area.
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during the months of November through April.
- All work history details (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) must be complete in the submission.
