Job Summary
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float (Tele MS Float) Nurse Night Shift in Newport, Vermont. This role supports patient care across PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry needs during night hours, with an every-other-weekend rotation. The position requires independent work, including performing charge nurse duties, and includes the possibility of floating to other units based on operational needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift (12-hour shifts) for a minimum of 36 hours per week, including every other weekend rotation.
• Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care within PCU/MedSurg/Telemtry assignments.
  • Perform charge nurse duties as required.
  • Maintain the ability to work independently.
  • Float to other units (including ED and MCH) when needed.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Nursing license (must be brought on the first day)
  • Experience working in a Trauma Level setting (as indicated: yes)
  • Teaching hospital experience (as indicated: Y)
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience: Epic and Cerner
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • None listed.
• Additional Information:
  • Agency professionals are required to attend department quarterly education sessions.
  • Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transportation.
