Job Summary: Medical Surgical With Telemetry (MS Tele) Registered Nurse (Neuro/Ortho Unit) Nights, Saint Louis, MO. The healthcare provider will deliver nursing care for adult patients on a Neuro/Ortho unit with telemetry monitoring, supporting diagnoses that include orthopedic, neurology, med/surg, and stroke. Responsibilities include managing isolation precautions/PPE as needed, providing cardiovascular and stroke-focused care, and supporting patients with specialty needs such as total joint replacement. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); Fire Safety; Missouri (MO) license (submit without license OK; requires MO or compact, with no issuance if tied to another compact state); license in hand required at time of submittal; certifications as listed must be current; ability to provide skills including starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry on the unit monitoring and telemetry remote monitoring, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and PICC line management.
• Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience.
• Responsibilities: Provide nursing care for adult patients on a Neuro/Ortho unit with telemetry monitoring; perform assessments and monitor for cerebrovascular events (CVA) and stroke-related needs; manage and maintain peripheral IVs and PICC lines; support isolation precautions using appropriate PPE; support care for total joint replacement patients; perform telemetry monitoring including on-unit monitoring and remote monitoring.
• Additional Information: Float may be required to meet facility needs; clinicians may be pulled to any unit except ICU, SDU, and ED. Weekend coverage is required (2 shifts every other weekend; night shift may be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on rotation). On-call requirement: No. Pending license accepted: Yes.
