Description

Job Summary:
This location is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position. The role involves providing specialized care for high-risk pregnancies, performing fetal assessments, and demonstrating autonomous practice including conducting vaginal examinations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Position: Labor and Delivery (L&D) RN
  • Location: Walnut Creek, California
  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: California nursing license; 2 or more years of recent strong Labor and Delivery experience; current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; fetal assessment expertise; proficient fetal heart monitoring skills; ability to work autonomously and perform vaginal exams
  • Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience; over 3 years of recent strong Labor and Delivery experience; travel experience
  • Additional Information: RNs circulate in the operating room but do not scrub in during procedures.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Start Date: 07/14/2026
