Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room (OR) in Lafayette, Colorado. The successful candidate will perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health teaching and counseling. The RN will execute delegated medical functions, review treatment plans, and document care in compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Shift: 4-10 hour days with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice or a Compact RN License, ASN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing); Bachelor's degree of Nursing is preferred. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required; ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit or service are also required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room is preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves providing nursing care, health assessments, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, and review of treatment plans. The nurse may be involved in consultation, delegation, supervision, and patient referral activities.
