Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORCT) position available in Evanston, Illinois. This role involves supporting surgical teams within a healthcare facility, with candidates required to bring their license on the first day. The assignment starts on June 28, 2026, and has an expected duration of eight weeks.

Job Details:

• Location: Evanston, Illinois
• Schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, with a rotating day off, Monday through Friday
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• On-call Requirements: On-call required; must be within 30 minutes of the healthcare facility
• Experience Required: Epic electronic medical record system proficiency, 2 or more years of OR technician experience, with at least one travel contract completed. Experience in plastics, general, orthopedics, ENT, or neuro surgery is preferred but not mandatory
• License: NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification required
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; must be current and available for verification within 90 days of start date
• Submission Requirements: Credentials must be submitted by Thursday before the start date, including CBC, DS, and QuantiFERON Gold testing within 90 days prior to start
