Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) located in Round Rock, Texas. This contract position is based at a facility that provides emergency services, and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care in emergency situations.
Job Details:
- Location: Round Rock, Texas
- Specialty Name: Emergency Room (ER)
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license; Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and NCC certification; Education requirements as per state licensing standards; 0 or more years of experience in emergency nursing; Must have Meditech electronic medical record experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma, inpatient care, and CPI certification
- Additional Information: Two positions available; position created to fill a vacant slot; shift environment involves the use of Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers; unit has a diverse team with experienced staff, modern equipment, and a focus on high-quality patient outcomes
