Description
Job Summary:
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a Level III NICU setting, supporting neonates with intensive needs. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of the assignment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights or days, 36 hours per week, with a start date of 06/29/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Current Indiana RN license; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; NRP certification; minimum of 2 years of Level III NICU experience; experience with EPIC computer charting and Pyxis medication administration.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Orientation is scheduled for Monday through Friday of week 1 and Monday through Tuesday of week 2, with 8-hour days required for all 7 days.
- Non-billable orientation hours total 8 hours; guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation.
- Clinicians returning within 12 months of their last worked date are not eligible for non-billable orientation.
- Local rate applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles, with a 12% reduction of the regular bill rate.
- Client may call off or cancel up to 24 hours for every 13-week assignment.
- Equipment utilized includes EPIC computer charting and Pyxis medication administration.
