Description

Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to Emergency Department patients, utilizing the nursing process and maintaining clinical competencies. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Schedule: Nights, 6:30 pm - 7:00 am; floating and call required, with a minimum of 36 hours per week over a 12-hour shift
Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC); 2+ years of emergency nursing experience; valid nursing license; EMR experience with MedHost (EDIS); candidate must be registered with the state of New Mexico for fingerprint clearance
Additional Information: Call requirement is at least 2 hours prior to shift start; no guarantees for 48 hours or blocked scheduling; maximum RTO is 1 per schedule for 6 weeks; agency submissions are only accepted if registered with the state of New Mexico; fingerprints are required for all travelers due to state requirements; the position is a contractor replacement, with one summer and one winter shift depending on department needs
