Job Summary:
The Surgical Technologist position in Palo Alto, California, involves supporting surgical teams by preparing operating rooms, passing instruments, and maintaining sterile techniques during surgical procedures. This role requires candidates to bring their license on the first day and be prepared to assist in a fast-paced environment, ensuring optimal patient care throughout surgical cases.
Job Details:
- Location: Palo Alto, California
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Completion of a formal, structured program for Surgical Technology; Licenses in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred; no minimum years of experience specified
- Additional Information: Urgent backfill required with start date of 07/13/2026; candidates must be prepared to support all aspects of surgical procedures, including sterilization, instrumentation, patient safety, and compliance with hospital policies and regulations. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sterile technique, as well as effective communication skills, are essential for success in this role.
