Job Summary:
A Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) position is available in Palo Alto, California. The role involves assisting the surgical team in providing patient care during surgical procedures by preparing instrumentation and supplies, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting surgeons as needed. The technician will work collaboratively within the operating room environment to ensure smooth and efficient surgical operations.

Job Details:

• Location: Palo Alto, California
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Completion of a formal, structured program for Surgical Technology; 3 years of experience; ability to apply sound judgment; effective communication skills; knowledge of normal/abnormal anatomy and physiology; familiarity with basic surgical procedures and sterile technique; knowledge of computer systems and hospital policies; ability to escalate safety concerns; commitment to ongoing professional growth; BLS certification required; CST certification preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in surgical technology and operating room support
