Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) at a healthcare facility located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The position involves assessing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed physician. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role requires a thorough understanding of nursing principles, current methods, and techniques, with collaborative patient care using the nursing process.
Job Details:
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
- Certification and licensing: PA Registered Nurse License, Multi State Compact Registered Nurse License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
- Experience: 0 years minimum experience required, 1 year preferred in the area of clinical specialty
- Shift: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: PA Registered Nurse License, Multi State Compact RN License, Basic Life Support certification, Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, 0 years of experience required in the role
- Preferred Qualifications: 1 year experience in labor and delivery or related clinical specialty
- Additional Information: The nurse will assess, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Labor and Delivery department. Directs nursing support staff in accordance with standards and policies.
