Description
Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse position is based in Mission Viejo, California. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the cardiac catheterization lab, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Candidates must bring their California nursing license on their first day and have at least one year of charge experience in a similar setting.
Job Details:
- Location: Mission Viejo, CA
- Shift: Days, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid California license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support); 1 year of previous charge experience; experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, adult procedures, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, right and left heart catheterizations, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias.
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting on 06/30/2026
- Additional Information: Candidates must be open to floating between facilities within the state of California. Attendance is required for a minimum of three out of five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). Candidates should have the LA fire card within the last 30 days. References covering one year (six months for CNAs) within the last three years are required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working at a Providence facility or similar healthcare environment is advantageous.
- Submission Requirements: Must disclose if previously employed at a Providence facility, provide two references, confirm LA fire card within the last 30 days, and answer whether they have ever worked at a Providence facility, including location and dates.
