Description

Job Summary:
A position for an Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse is available in Fort Myers, Florida. The role involves providing outpatient oncology infusion services at a busy center, administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and other medications. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with 8-hour day shifts.

Job Details:

  • Location: Fort Myers, Florida
  • Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, 5 years of nursing experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), prior travel experience.
  • Certifications: BLS required; OCN and ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card preferred.
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: Floating: Floating is required; travelers are the first to float and may be assigned to other sister campuses. All required documentation, including demographic information (address, email, date of birth, social security number, RN license number), must be loaded at time of submission. Hard document deadline is Monday prior to start date; no exceptions for pending documents.
  • Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, blood transfusions, therapeutic phlebotomy, and other medications. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is Epic with Beacon (Oncology platform).
