Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position is located in Margate, Florida. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in a busy, high-acuity environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position offers an opportunity to work in a top-ranked facility with a focus on orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement surgeries.

Job Details:

• Location: Margate, Florida
• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Shift: Days, 12 hours shift hours, with on-call requirements of 1-2 shifts during the week and 1 weekend shift per 4-week period; rotating weekends are a possibility.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Current Florida state nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), 2 years recent experience in an acute OR setting, orthopedics, spine, and joint replacement experience, knee and hip replacement experience, proficient charting, critical thinking skills, excellent bedside manner, EMR experience with Meditech.
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room), charge nurse experience, trauma level 1 experience, Epic EMR experience, teaching hospital experience.
• Additional Information:
