Job Summary
A registered nurse (RN) is sought for a Medical Surgical Float position in Johnson City, New York. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic Med/Surg Tele Float Pool setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Location: Johnson City, NY
• Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week, 12-night shifts
• Required Qualifications: Current NYS RN License; BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross); Nursing (RN) experience of six (6) months to three (3) years; Management experience of zero (0) to three (3) years; Five plus (5+) years of direct experience; A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing; Epic experience preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting; Professional certification in a related nursing specialty; Relevant skills certification (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by the home unit.
• Skills: Collaboration; Communication (verbal & written); Judgement/Critical Thinking; Organizational understanding; Planning (Organizing, Time Management); Problem solving; Quality; Reliability; Safety and risk management.
• Additional Information: The RN will follow all United Health Services Values and perform other duties as assigned. The role involves active participation in professional development, regulatory compliance, and evidence-based practice.
