Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in medical surgical care is sought for a position located in Johnson City, New York. The role requires providing comprehensive patient care on the medical surgical floor, with a focus on nursing standards, safety, and patient advocacy. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. This position involves night shifts and a minimum of 48 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Johnson City, NY
• Schedule: Night shift (12-hour nights); 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current New York State Registered Nurse License; BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross); 6 months to 3 years of RN experience; graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred; previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting; proficiency in collaboration, communication (verbal & written), judgment/critical thinking, organizational understanding, planning, problem-solving, quality, reliability, safety, and risk management skills; fluent in English (read, write, speak)
• Preferred Qualifications: CCRN certification; relevant skills certification (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by the assigned unit
• Additional Information: Knowledge of EPIC electronic medical record system is required; position involves active participation in clinical improvement initiatives and adherence to nursing practice standards.
