Description

Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) is sought for a position at a healthcare organization in Fort Myers, Florida. This role involves providing surgical nursing care for adult and pediatric patients across a variety of specialties, including ENT, General Surgery, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Spine, and Neurosurgery. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Fort Myers, Florida
  • Shift: 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with call responsibilities required (approximately 4 calls per month). Call shifts include EOS (7 PM - 11 PM), overnight (7 PM - 7 AM), or backup call (3 PM - 7 AM).
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) preferred
  • Licenses and Experience: Valid RN license number required. Candidates must have 2 years of Operating Room experience, Pediatric experience, and a minimum of 5 years of total clinical experience.
  • Education/Experience: Degree accreditation must be listed on the candidate profile or must have 5 years of relevant experience.
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Travel Experience: Highly preferred
  • Floating: Floating to other sister campuses may be required. Travelers are prioritized for floating, and all demographic information (including full address, email, date of birth, SSN, RN license number) must be loaded at submission.
  • Additional Notes: Must adhere to the Radius Rule of 50 miles from permanent address. Culture is highly valued; travelers are integrated as core staff members. The document submission deadline is Monday prior to the start date.
