Job Summary:
This Medical Surgical (MS) registered nurse position is located in Wichita, Kansas within a newly established unit. The role entails providing patient care during night shifts, with candidates required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position offers a great opportunity to join a team that utilizes recent equipment and technology, with an emphasis on team collaboration and patient-centered care.
Job Details:
- Location: Wichita, Kansas
- Shift Hours: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Required Qualifications: Candidates must hold a valid nursing license, have a minimum of one year of current acute care hospital experience in Medical Surgical, Orthopedic, or similar units, and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with traction, spine, hip, and joint precautions, ACLS certification.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This position is on a brand new unit, offering opportunities to work with new equipment and technology in a supportive environment.
