Job Summary: Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (MS) Miles City, MT. The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform independent and delegated nursing functions in accordance with accepted practice standards defined by the state Board of Nursing. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care; collecting and assessing health data; providing health teaching and counseling; and documenting care according to hospital and regulatory guidelines. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (ASN) graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as appropriate for unit or service; ability to perform nursing care, health assessment, health teaching, health counseling, and therapy and treatment planning; ability to support resource utilization, delegation, supervision, documentation, and patient consultation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous Registered Nurse experience; Bachelors degree in Nursing; certification as appropriate for unit or service.
• Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need. May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
