Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Mother/Baby care in Oklahoma City. This position involves providing specialized postpartum and neonatal care within a Mother/Baby unit. The role requires delivering quality patient care in accordance with organizational standards and clinical protocols.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Oklahoma Registered Nurse license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), a minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience in Mother/Baby or related specialty.
- Preferred Qualifications: N/A
- Number of Beds: N/A
- Patient Ratios: Three mother-baby pairs per nurse; postpartum patients on magnesium usually managed 1:1 for the first 12 hours, then caseload adjusted accordingly.
- Equipment: N/A
- EMR: Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in use is EPIC.
- Hiring Profile - Must Have Skills/Experience: Utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient needs, delivers patient-centered care, maintains confidentiality, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams according to mission and standards.
