Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse position located in San Leandro, California. The role involves providing acute care in the emergency department, with an emphasis on trauma and critical patient management. Candidates are required to bring their Registered Nurse license on the first day. The position offers a 12-hour night shift schedule starting on July 6, 2026, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum
  • Required Qualifications: One (1) year recent (within the last three years) full-time equivalent experience as a healthcare professional; Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire; proof of active license and certifications.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field; Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias; NIH Stroke Scale Certificate.
  • Additional Information: Candidate has just over 1.5 years of ER experience; has California license; certified in BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and PALS; familiar with Epic and Cerner electronic medical records; no limitations preventing acceptance if offered; understands floating requirements within scope of practice; has explored housing options near the facility.
