Job Summary: Medical Surgical With Telemetry (MS TELE) Wichita, Kansas
The healthcare provider is seeking Rapid Response staff to support a Medical/Telemetry unit. The role requires clinical readiness to assist with urgent patient needs and strong critical thinking in an acute care Telemetry environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours; minimum 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience; Meditech experience; license required on the first day.
- Preferred Qualifications: National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) experience.
- Additional Information: Rapid Response unit support includes central lines and medication drips; PCA pumps and IV pumps are used; estimated patient ratios of 1:6 (never guaranteed); Meditech is used for documentation.
