Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in telemetry (RN TEL) is needed for a float assignment in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses with a strong medical-surgical (Med/Surg) background to contribute to a float pool environment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Details:

• Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois
• Schedule: 12-hour Night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification, 2+ years of strong Med/Surg TELE background, prior resource or float pool experience preferred, EPIC electronic charting experience, and valid credentials verification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a resource or float pool environment, familiarity with EMR systems like EPIC.
• Float: Float rotation may be required across all Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units within the facility.
• Additional Information: Orientation sessions are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, totaling 24 hours (12 hours non-billable). Credentials are due on Thursday before the start date. Candidates must submit an updated resume, skills checklist completed within 12 months, one reference within 12 months, and license verification.
