Job Summary: Asheville, North Carolina Telemetry Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse (Neurosciences)
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to support a Neurosciences unit within a telemetry medical surgical float role. The position involves providing patient care using standard medical surgical equipment and the Cerner electronic medical record system, with documented collaboration to meet unit needs, including participation in every other weekend coverage. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day Shift (12-hour shifts), 36.0 minimum hours per week; every other weekend coverage is required.
- Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse license; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; ability to perform Foley insertion and IV starts; proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records.
- Preferred Qualifications: Neuro experience.
