Job Summary: House Supervisor RN (Level 1) Medford, OR
House Supervisor RN (Level 1) provides organizational oversight of nursing care across units within a short-term acute care setting, supporting inpatient acute care operations and escalation needs. Responsibilities include leading code and rapid response processes, supporting crisis intervention and infection control, and assisting with patient flow activities such as bed diversion, transfers, and new admissions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; weekends required (occasional)
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Epic charting system experience; 1 year of inpatient acute care and/or charge/oversight experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Additional Information:
  • Expected to supervise nursing care delivered on all units organizationally.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (including DPH, The Joint Commission, and OSHA) and workplace safety standards is required.
  • Skills include inpatient acute care support, code management, crisis intervention/management, facility/bed diversion, rapid response team support, discharge against medical advice, sentinel event monitoring and reporting, new admissions, post-surgery and post-procedures care, transfer to higher level care, customer service, infection control, and isolation procedures.
  • Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
  • A vehicle is required for this assignment.
