Description

Job Summary: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse Burlingame, California
A Registered Nurse is needed to provide support to Pediatricians, Neonatologists, and Registered Nurses in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) / Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting. The role follows Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to assist with safe, precise treatment and care execution while integrating education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift (12 hours); minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications:
    • California Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
    • At least 2 years of NICU experience preferred
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in NICU
  • Additional Information:
    • Follows clear direction and defined procedures to provide support to Pediatricians, Neonatologists, and Registered Nurses for the execution of care and procedures in the NICU / LDRP setting
    • Works in an environment focused on safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a Charge Nurse
    • Compliance and onboarding requirements include completion of labs within 35 days of contract signing and 7-year work history verification for all candidates
    • All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to start
    • Holiday coverage includes New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day (holidays begin at 7:00 PM the night before and end at 7:00 AM the day after); only 1 holiday per contract can be requested
