Description
Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) in Hood River, Oregon. This position involves performing critical sterilization and reusable medical equipment reprocessing within an acute hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role may require floating between facilities and working variable days with a shift time from 07:00 to 17:30.

- Required Qualifications: Certifications include BLS, CBSPD, CBSPD C.A.S.S.P.T., CBSPD C.F.E.R., CBSPD C.S.P.M., CSPDT, IAHCSMM/HSPA; Education and license requirements are verified, and minimum experience is 0 years.
- Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, LTAC experience, Trauma Level I and II experience, and travel experience.
- Certifications: BLS, CBSPD, C.A.S.S.P.T, C.F.E.R., C.S.P.M, CSPDT, IAHCSMM/HSPA
- Skills: Proficiency in acute hospital operating rooms, aseptic technique, automated endoscope reprocessors (AER), biologic indicators, cleaning and sterilization of various scopes and surgical systems, use of sterilization equipment, managing trays and documentation, and familiarity with modular systems.
- Experience: 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidates may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities. Must work 3 of the 5 major holidays. Past work at a Providence facility should be disclosed during application.
