Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN), Medical Surgical Floor Farmington, NM
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Nephrology/Medical Surgical floor, providing care for geriatric and adult patient populations. Responsibilities include delivering medical-surgical nursing care while supporting treatment related to end-stage renal disease (ESRD), peritoneal dialysis, and hemodialysis. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 07001930; 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) must be American Heart Association (AHA); ADN; Med/Surg experience; minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience preferred but not required; nephrology experience preferred but not required; observation unit experience is a plus
- Additional Information: Position is for the Nephrology unit, an extension of the Med/Surg units Observation Unit experience a plus. Policy requires all staff to work at least 2 weekend shifts per month. Equipment includes VS machine, bladder scanner, lifts, thermal imaging, and IV pumps/tubes. Electronic health record: Cerner.
