Job Summary: Emergency Room Urgent Care RN New York, NY
An RN for Urgent Care (Emergency Room/Urgent Care setting) is needed to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts, with emphasis on emergency and critical care support. The role requires bringing the active license on the first day. Candidates should be prepared to work rotating weekends and holidays and maintain required clinical certifications throughout the assignment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Night shift (7:30 PM to 8:00 AM); 11.5 shift hours; minimum of 34.5 hours per week. Rotating weekends and holidays. Required to work 13 shifts within the 4-week schedule period.
  • Required Qualifications: Active RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Minimum 2 years of critical care, emergency department (ED), or cardiac step-down experience. Emergency room experience and/or oncology experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM). (Note: not listed as required.) Epic ASAP module experience. Cardiac Emergency Nurse (CEN), Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN), or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN). National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification. 2+ years of experience preferred. Oncology experience preferred.
