Travel Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Carlsbad, New Mexico
A Travel Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a General Medical-Surgical Inpatient Nursing Unit, supporting patients with occasional non-critical pediatric cases. The assignment operates on nights and may include floating and census-related call-in needs when census is low. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 6:30p7a; 36 hours per week (12 shift hours)
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Registered Nurse (RN) license; 2+ years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience; candidate must bring their license on the first day
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Responsibilities: Provide general medical-surgical inpatient nursing care; support occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the unit; float as needed; participate in census flex call-in when census is low
- Additional Information: Blocked Scheduling may be accommodated; fingerprints are required for New Mexico travelers and may take several weekssubmission is limited to agencies registered with the state of New Mexico; scrub color may be any color
