Job Summary: Night Shift Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Corpus Christi, Texas
A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) professional is needed for Level II NICU and Newborn Nursery support during night shifts. Responsibilities include assisting with procedures such as intubations, eye exam support, feeding tube insertions, and IV insertions, with care delivered using typical NICU patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night Shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: CPR; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); demonstrated ventilator experience; experience caring for 2340+ week gestation infants; comfort supporting ventilator/oscillator care and CPIN (Centricity Perinatal) charting
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech
- Additional Information: Weekends: 34 weekends per month; No on-call responsibilities
