Job Summary: Walnut Creek, CA Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN)
The organization is seeking an ER RN to provide care in a fast-paced environment where rapid patient turnover and critical thinking are essential. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient-centered care with a strong focus on nursing excellence and patient experience. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating nights and days (12-hour shifts), with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse (CA RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association (AHA) only); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (AHA only); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (AHA only) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); 2+ years of recent ER experience; documented Emergency Department (EPIC) experience in prior work history.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); 35 years of experience; some trauma experience; some pediatrics experience.
- Additional Information: Patient experience and nursing excellence are a major focus. Responsibilities include triaging ambulance patients at the bedside and managing high patient throughput in a high-acuity, rapidly changing environment.
