Job Summary:
This nursing position is based in Carbondale, Illinois, within a healthcare organization that provides a range of specialized services including intensive care, cardiac care, emergency services, neonatal, and pediatrics. The role involves working in various units such as the Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Cardiac Services, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and others. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois Registered Nurse license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Carbondale, Illinois
- Shift: Days, 10 hours per shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week, with on-call responsibilities as required.
- Required Qualifications: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license, current CPR/BLS card, ACLS certification, and without minimum experience requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the specified units (Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Cardiac Services, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatrics, Infusion Center, Radiation, Infusion Therapy Services).
- Additional Information: The position involves assessing patients' mental, physical, and spiritual needs, developing and evaluating care plans, providing patient instructions, demonstrating clinical judgment to recognize and report changes, managing conflicts professionally, maintaining complete medical records, and participating in continuing education to meet core measure responsibilities.
