Job Summary:
A healthcare organization is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) specializing in Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) to join a unit located in Englewood, Colorado. The position involves working day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Position Title: TRAVEL - RN - Medical Surgical Floor (602)
• Location: Englewood, Colorado
• Shift Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Medical Surgical (Med/Surg) experience; Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS); experience with burn care, wound care, and ostomy care; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Burn care experience; wound care and ostomy care experience; ACLS certification
• Unit Information:
  • Type: Medical Surgical
  • Bed Count: 18-20 beds
  • Staffing: 35 staff members including charge nurses, nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
  • Patient Ratios: 6:1 with LPNs
  • Equipment: Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacuums, Patient Controlled Analgesia (PCA) pumps
  • Typical Procedures: Wound and dressing care for post-operative burn and flap patients
  • EMR System: Meditech
