Description
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) Registered Nurse Lawton, Oklahoma
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical Floor to provide direct patient care during night shifts. Responsibilities include preparing, administering, and documenting prescribed medications, performing wound care activities such as dressing changes, and supporting invasive procedures as appropriate. Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift; 12 shift hours; minimum 36.0 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 2 years RN Medical Surgical Floor (MS) experience
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent traveler experience
- Responsibilities:
- Preparing, administering, and recording prescribed medications
- Changing dressings
- Inserting catheters and starting intravenous (IV) lines
- Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed
- Interpreting and recording measurements
- Monitoring patients vital signs
- Reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner
