Description

Job Summary: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER) Tucson, Arizona
The Registered Nurse provides shift accountability for delivering care to Emergency Department patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures. The role emphasizes critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to support safe delivery of patient care, including delegation of priorities and supervision of assigned personnel. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
  • Start Date: 07/20/2026
  • Specialty/Unit Type: Emergency Department (Emergency Room)
  • Responsibilities: Implements the Nursing Process; demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment; provides leadership and shift accountability to anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with staff education and experience; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
  • Required Qualifications: Current Arizona (AZ) Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Charge Nurse experience.
  • Additional Information: Float may be required. Experience with Cerner is preferred.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates should be prepared to provide their license on the first day.
