Description
Job Summary: Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) Registered Nurse (Cheyenne, WY) Performs EP labfocused patient care responsibilities in an acute setting, including sterile environment circulation and monitoring during procedures. The role requires proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (Epic) and familiarity with EP lab workflows and equipment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 07:0017:30; 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); American Heart Association (AHA) certifications; valid license (required to submit); at least 1 year of relevant experience (with preference for additional experience).
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience; experience scrubbing in the EP lab sterile field; experience supporting EP lab procedures and EP lab workflow in a sterile environment.
- Responsibilities: Circulate and monitor during EP lab procedures; maintain sterile environment standards; support EP lab processes with appropriate preparation and equipment readiness.
- Additional Information: Epic charting required; experience with MacLab/Cardiolab and Biosense Webster mapping preferred; EP currently operates on Mondays and Thursdays; interventionalist support is available for some procedures; call coverage includes 3 call nights per month (5:00 p.m.7:00 a.m.) and 1 weekend (FridaySunday) with a 4-person call team; a 20-minute call response time is expected; one week of unit/department-specific orientation is provided after onboarding; floating may be required to the Cardiac Cath Lab to assist in circulating and monitoring (no floating to IR).
