Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Great Barrington, Massachusetts
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse staffing is needed at a healthcare facility in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, supporting Emergency Department operations. The role requires independent clinical judgment under general guidance, including critical thinking, communication, planning, and problem-solving to provide patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Emergency Department (ED) experience (2 years current Emergency Room experience required); Emergency Department (pertinent to position) skills (current to 1 year); Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be uploaded with profile); Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA) (required); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (AHA) (required); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (AHA) (required)
• Preferred Qualifications: Emergency Department triage and/or cardiac room experience (preferred); Intravenous (IV) certification (preferred); Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience with Meditech Expanse (highly preferred); Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) (preferred); Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) (preferred); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred)
• Additional Information: Ability to function independently under general guidance of the Director, while following unit-specific guidelines, protocols, and/or policies; Duties require independent action and judgment with strong critical thinking; Maintenance of emotional stability in emergency settings; Personal scrubs of any color permitted; Requested time off during the course of the assignment must be noted and verified at upload; Dress code requires personal scrubs of any color; Scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission (scheduling requests at/after time of offer or at interview will not be approved)
