Job Summary:
The Phoenix, Arizona, nurse specializing in Operating Room (OR) nursing is responsible for collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families to provide high-quality, professional nursing care tailored to pediatric patients. The position involves working in accordance with evidence-based practices, hospital standards, and regulatory requirements. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day of work.

Job Details:

  • Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
  • Location: Phoenix, AZ
  • Schedule: Dayshift RN, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts from 06:30 to 17:00, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current State of Arizona registered nurse (RN) license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date; Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, four-year (BSN) degree in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association; Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association; Experience: 2 full years of nursing experience, including 1 year in pediatric Operating Room nursing
  • Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccination highly recommended but not mandatory; Flu vaccination required from October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved by the organization prior to start. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID-19 will be required to sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the full respiratory virus season.
  • Additional Information: This assignment may float between three campuses: Main, Arrowhead, and Avondale.
