Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Glenview, Illinois
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with PACU experience to provide post-anesthesia care in an acute care setting. Responsibilities include delivering patient care during rotating start times and supporting scheduled weekend coverage and on-call rotation. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating start times between 8:00 AM11:00 AM, with a scheduled end time of 8:30 PM; 36 hours per week (9-hour shift). Weekend coverage includes 45 weeknights (8:00 PM7:00 AM) and 224-hour weekend shifts during a 6-week schedule; additional call coverage follows a similar 6-week schedule rotation.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Current Illinois RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • 3+ years of solid acute care hospital experience
  • Critical Care PACU experience in an acute care hospital setting
  • Evidence of a passed EKG test with an 80% or higher score
  • Successful completion of at least one travel contract
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • PACU experience in an acute care hospital setting (critical care PACU preferred)
• Additional Information:
  • Orientation: 4 hours (non-billable)
  • Credential submission: due Wednesday prior to start
