Job Summary: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse Yakima, Washington
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse professionals provide direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry and medical-surgical environment, supporting patients with complex cardiovascular and respiratory needs. The role includes monitoring and management of therapies and interventions, including post-cath care and medication drips. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights and days, 12-hour shifts (19000730 and 07001930); minimum 36 hours per week; weekend rotation every other.
- Required Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; at least 2 years of experience; experience with patient types including CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, diabetes (DM), blood product administration, BiPAP, CVA overflow, and post-cath patients (including TR bands and femoral approach); experience with chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, and monitoring femoral arterial sheaths.
- Preferred Qualifications: Art line experience; Impella and/or IABP experience.
- Additional Information: Telemetry rotation may include Telemetry 2EW and Med-Surg/Neurology-Medical; EMR experience with EPIC is required; on-call coverage is not indicated.
