Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Charge Registered Nurse (RN) Glenwood Springs, CO. This role supports the Family Birth Place team by providing labor and delivery services with partnership coverage across operating room (OR), post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), and postpartum areas, including couplet care. The position is focused on delivering evidence-based care for a high-volume birth environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Rotating 12-hour day shift with rotating weekends; call rotation is typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, but could change. Minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact to practice in Colorado (in good standing); American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); STABLE certification; nursing skills sheet; resume; copy of Nursys license verification; NRP/STABLE documentation.
  • Preferred Qualifications: None provided.
  • Additional Information:
    • Provides labor and delivery care for babies 32 weeks and up, including couplet care.
    • Provides care across L&D with OR, PACU, and postpartum support.
    • Must demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with the units evidence-based care approach.
