Job Summary: Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) Polson, Montana
A Registered Nurse is needed for Labor and Delivery (L&D) to support care across obstetrical units, including triage and postpartum responsibilities. The role requires floating between units as needed and working nights with weekend coverage. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Montana (MT) or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at time of submission)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Nursing certification(s) listed as required/expected in the posting: CLC* and Stable*
  • Epic charting system experience (required)
  • Stable* skills, including: labor & delivery, triage of obstetrical patients, Labor and Delivery (LDRP) care, sterile vaginal exam, circulate for C-section
  • 3+ years of recent experience in obstetrical care (recent experience required)
  • Trauma experience, charting system details beyond Epic, and community hospital/LTAC experience are not specified as required
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Charge/lead nursing experience (preferred only as referenced for reference coverage; no additional preferred clinical requirements were specified)
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• On-call / Call Requirements: On-call is required up to once per pay period, with a 30-minute call back time.
• Weekend Coverage: Weekends are required every other weekend. Weekend shifts are evenly dispersed with all nurses.

  • The role supports care across obstetrical units, including newborn care.
  • Wireless fetal monitoring and JADA device for postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) are noted for the unit.
