Description
Job Summary: Farmington, CT Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights
A Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) will provide patient care during 12-hour night shifts, including working every other weekend (Friday/Saturday) and participating in call and holiday rotation. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights (12-hour shifts), working every other weekend (Friday/Saturday), with call and holiday rotation; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience
- Minimum of 1 year of prior travel experience in the Emergency Room (ER)
- License required; candidates must bring their license on the first day
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with floating to the Psych Hold area
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- Could float to the Psych Hold area
- Mandatory overtime may be required during the assignment to ensure unit coverage
