Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit Nurse in Englewood, Colorado. This role involves providing specialized care in a Surgical Robotics (Med/Surg) unit with a focus on post-operative assessments and patient management. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Education requirements and experience levels: 0 years of experience in a medical/surgical/post-operative setting, with Meditech EMR experience. Candidates must be located in Colorado and possess current licensure.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Gynecology/Oncology or Urology is considered a plus.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: This position is created to meet peak period demand. No special scheduling or return-to-office restrictions are required after accepting the assignment. The unit typically comprises 24 beds with a patient ratio of 5:1, staffed by one charge nurse, five nurses, and 1-2 technicians. Procedures include post-operative assessments, prostatectomy care, hysterectomy care, CBI, pain management (including PCA and epidurals), and Foley catheter maintenance. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, compassionate, and flexible to cope with a fast-paced environment.
