Job Summary: Muskogee, Oklahoma Emergency Room Pediatric Registered Nurse (ER Peds). The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with facility standards and unit policies/procedures to monitor and evaluate patient functional status. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); Completion of basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing approved and verified by a state board of nursing, holding or being entitled to hold a diploma or degree therefrom; Epic experience; Zero (0) to six (6) months of related experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process for assigned patients; completes assessments and individualizes plans of care within established unit/nursing guidelines; organizes, prioritizes, and performs nursing skills appropriate to the patient population; delegates and communicates effectively; documents nursing care using appropriate records and correct medical terminology abbreviations; supports patient teaching/discharge through timely referrals and collaboration with other disciplines as appropriate; attends mandatory in-services and meets unit education standards; completes variance reports.
