Job Summary:
An Emergency Room (ER) Nurse is needed in Arlington Heights, Illinois. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ER environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

• Required Qualifications: Illinois Licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), 3-5 years of ER nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Emergency Critical Care Registered Nurse (ECRN) certification in Region 9.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The facility has a census of 180 patients per day, with a focus on stroke and pediatric cases. The unit has 44 rooms, with each team covering 10 beds/pods. The team works in a coordinated environment supporting all staff members together, including nurses, PCTs, and physicians. Floating is not required. Orientation includes 12 hours of clinical and 6 hours of non-billable training as needed.
